One staff of Shishu Academy was abducted from road by plain-clothed men ridded tinted-glass microbus on Friday morning.
The victim was identified as Abul Kalam Azad, 38, office assistant of Babuganj upazila Shishu Academy and son of Liakat Ali from Ghataker Char of the upazila.
He was abducted from Fire Service Station crossing on Babuganj-Mohanganj road in Babuganj upazila of Barisal, about one kilometer far from the home of the victim.
Mojammel Hossain, one of the witnesses said while Abul Kalam Azad going on foot to Khanpura, some tall figured unidentified plain-clothed men wearing genji and pant waiting on a white-microbus with tinted glass barred at the spot asking him to ride on the vehicle, at about 9:30 AM on Friday.
When Azad denied to follow their order, the miscreants forcibly took him to microbus.
