Omera Gas One Limited will supply LPG (Auto Gas) at Tk 42 per liter in the country from March 1. Special price will be applicable for auto gas-operated vehicles at all the gas stations of Omera in many places of the country. The offer, named ‘One country, tone price’, was announced at a press conference held at east Coast centre at city’s Gulshan area on Wednesday. Omera Gas One Limited is a Joint venture company in between Omera Petroleum Limited And Saisan Company of Japan, said a press release.
Chief Executive Officer of Omera Gas One Limited Toshiyuki Shimbori, General Manager (Sales and Technical) Kamal Hossain, Business Development Manager and East Coast Group Director Tanveer Azam Chowdhury and senior officials of the company were also present at the press conference.
At the press conference Omera’s officials said, ‘the new price has been set to encourage the use of LPG as fuel for vehicles in the country. In order to make available auto gas for users, efforts have been taken to launch a large number of stations across the country.’
They said that currently the Omera LPG is being provided to the vehicles through 10 gas stations. Clean Fuel Filling Station Limited, Mohakhali, Sonar Bangla Service Station, 50/1 Asad Gate, Mohammadpur in Dhaka, Parkesine Products Limited, Sreepur in Gazipur, S Rahman Filling Station & CNG Station, Feni (Dhaka-Chittagong Highway), EC Distribution Limited, Shahjahanpur in Bogra, Gul Gufur Petroleum, Kumrapara, Rajshahi, Khulshi CNG Filling Station, Khulshi, Chittagong, Dorgah Filling Station, Gazir Darga, Jessore, Sonali Filling Station, Alipur, Satkhira, Hazi Ashraf Ali and Son’s Filling Station, Hazipara, Main Road, Cox’sBazar Sadar Cox’sBazar are already in operation along with LPG Conversion centers.
`In this year, Omera Gas One Limited will introduce more than 50 stations to ensure 24 hours Auto gas supply to customers at the most affordable price’, the conference said,
