Staff Reporter:Oman suspended air communication with Bangladesh from Monday, Md Mokabbir Hossain, Managing Director of Biman Bangladesh Airlines told The New Nation.
Oman has taken such a step to stem the coronavirus spreading as the fourth country in the Middle East following Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar.
Besides, flights to and from Delhi, Kolkata, Bangkok and Kathmandu have also been suspended.
Officials said, Biman will operate a special flight from Saudi Arabia tomorrow morning to bring home about 300 stranded Bangladeshi nationals, who went to perform Umrah.
The special flight will leave King Fahad International Airport for Dhaka at 7:30am, Saudi local time, according to officials.
