The leaders of the Chattogram Samity in Oman led by its Vice -President Syed Md. Jashimuddin called on newly appointed Comptroller and Auditor General of Bangladesh Md. Muslim Chowdhury and greet him by presenting bouquet at his Kadalpur village residence in Raozan upazila on Friday .Among others, Vice President of the Oman samity Morsheduil Alam ,Finance secretary Nasir Mahmud, Joint General Secretary Rafiqul Islam, Amanullah chowdhury Bablu, Astt. Organizing secretary Anowar Hossain, EC member Engr. Ashrafur Rahman CIP were present on the occasion. Muslim Chowdhury hails from Fateh Ali Chowdhury Bari of Kadalpur village under Raozan upazila , chattogram ,elder son of late Nurul Alam chowdhury . Prior to his joining as CAG, he discharged his responsibilities as Finance Secretary of the Govt of Bangladesh. Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain swears him as CAG on July 17 last for next five years. Mentionable that Muslim Chowdhury joined as BCS officer of 1984 batch . He obtained Honours Master degree in Accounting from Chattogram University who later achieved Master Degree in Finance & Accounting from Barmingham University UK with distinction marks. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina awarded him with Public Administration Award for his special contribution in Management reorganization in 2017.
