The Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA) observed the Olympic Day Run-2015 in the capital and six other divisional headquarters on Friday as part of the IOC’s global program to popularize the Olympic movement.
BOA secretary general Syed Shahed Reza was the chief guest in the Day run.
The master event of the program, the Olympic Day Run-2015, sponsored by Coca Cola, Exim Bank Ltd, First Security Islami Bank, Ershad Group Limited, Moushumi Industries Limited, Tarji and The Blazer BD.
The Olympic Day run, participated by the sports loving people, started from Ramna Tennis Complex at 7 am and terminate at the Bangabandhu National Stadium after passing through Engineers Institute, Foreign Ministry, Press Club, Baitul Mokkaram and National Sports Council areas.
After the rally certificates were distributed among the participants, who took part in the rally.
A cultural program also arranged at BNS.
