An old woman was killed by collision of a speedy rider bus in the city yesterday.
The incident occurred yesterday morning at Isphani Rail Gate area under Pahartali thana . Eye witnesses sources said a commuter service rider pushed a elderly women near the rail gate and quickly fled away leaves the woman died on the spot after some time. Local source said the woman was a mentally retarded .
Pahartali thana police admitted the death of the woman. The identity of the woman yet to be known till writing this report. The body of the victim sent to morgue of Chittagong Medical College immediately source said. A UD case has been lodged with the concerned thana , sources said.
