Old man’s body recovered from Rampal fish farm

Dead body of an old man, identified as one Gour Pal (76) of village Gilatala Paschimpara under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district was recovered by the fire service from a fish farm of the village on Friday noon (at 12 am).
It is learnt from his family source that on Thursday before noon the ill-fated old man left his residence for cutting grass for his (domestic) cattle heads. But he did not return home till the afternoon. Them some of the family-members began to search different places of the village and one stage they found a gunny bag loaded with grass had been floating in a nearby fish farm.
They guessed, he was, perhaps drowned in the fish farm. They searched it, but no trace of him was found, Later on, they informed the local PS and fire service. On the following day at noon a number of divers of Khulna Fire Service reached there and recovered the dead body from the fish farm after a long search for one hour. No sign of injuries on the body was found.
