An old man was died when a train hit him while he was riding some sheep on a railway in Bhangura upazila of Pabna. His name is Loban Pramanik (70). He is a resident of Betuan Baonjanpara village in Dilpashar union of the upazila. The accident took place on Tuesday (17 May) near Dilpashar station in Bhangura upazila on the Ishwardi-Dhaka rail-line. Md. Amirul Islam,sub-inspector of Sirajganj GRP Police Station confirmed the incedent.
Locals said Loban Pramanik kept some of his sheep on the green grass along the railway line and he was looking at the sheep. At that time, Dhaka to Rajshahi intercity Dhumketu Express train came forward. He fell under the line when he was hit by a train before he realized anything. He died on the spot.
