A female student committed suicide on Thursday night.
The deceased was identified as Sharmin Akhter(15) daughter of Abu Taleb under Ulipur Upozila of Buraburi union of the village Porarchar.She was hanged by herself in her own house due to her mothers condoling for neglecting her study.
Police rushed to the spot on Friday morning and recovered her body. Ulipur OC Abdullah Abu Syed confirmed the death of Sharmin.
Besides, an old man committed suicide due to unbearable colic pain and kidney disease at Phulbari upazila in Kurigram district on Wednesday morning .
The deceased was identified as Suresh Chandra Roy (64) son of late Satish Chandra Roy of village frontier adjoining village Biddabagish in the upazila.The villager Sudher Chandra Roy and UP member Noor Mohammad said he committed suicide by hanging himself with ceiling of his bed room in the morning in absence of all. Later his family members recovered the body.
