Oindrila is the youngest daughter of noted actor late Bulbul and actress Daisy Ahmed. Though she was regular in acting in childhood right now she has not been engaged with this work. But she showed her keen interest to return. She has showed not only keen interest for acting but also to perform as a model in TV commercials. Some directors already got this message. So they are trying their level best to make telefilm to cast her. But Oindrila’s only want that is there must have good story and role. Otherwise, she will not return to acting. She wants to return by that image which she left earlier.
While talking in this regard Oindrila told this correspondent, “In fact, I have been engaged with acting during childhood. I still miss acting because I have to engage with other activities. Already I got many offers. Right now I have decided to acting during break times of my works. I hope if the ball and bat match viewers will watch me on the screen.”
When known persons find Oindrila they suggest her to return in acting. In fact, the actors who worked with her earlier they are also showing their interests to work with her now. In 2005, Oindrila last acted in a TV play. Later she did not work. She first acted in a play titled Dola produced by Barkatullah. After getting matured she first acted under her father’s direction in play Suva. Oindrila acted first serial was Sheikh Riazuddin Badshah produced Mohor Ali. She acted in 100 plays till now. She first performed as a model in a TVC of Suncrest under Afzal Hossain’s direction.
In Bangladesh, she first performed as a model in TVC of Fair & Lovely. Till now she performed in 16 TVCs. She also gave her voice in title song of many plays.
