Legendary actor late Bulbul Ahmed’s daughter Oindrila Ahmed has been attached with music and acting during childhood. But she was mostly seen in acting rather than rendering song. After a long time, she is coming with a new original song titled Shesher Kabita, which lyrics were written by Faisal Ahmed while Amzad Hossain composed its music.
While talking about her new upcoming song, Oindrila said, “Earlier, I did several numbers of original songs. I specially lent my voice for the songs of dramas. This time I have rendered a song under huge arrangement. I have liked lyrics and tunes of the song. But I could not make music video of the song due to lockdown. As it was my arranged original song, so I want this song will be released after making its music video nicely. I strongly believe if it is released on YouTube channel after making the music video, listeners will surely enjoy it.” Meanwhile, Oindrila got many offers to act in television dramas. Due to disliking story and role, she could not agree to work in those dramas. In last Eid, Oindrila-starrer dramas Kolonko, Fake Love and Chilekothar Sangsar were telecasted in different TV channels.
Oindrila informed that shooting of these dramas were done many days ago but unfortunately did not get the scope to telecast. For this reason, these dramas were aired in Eid-ul-Azha. Due to corona, Oindrila has to detach from acting to keep in mind her two children. Her hosted cooking related show on Banglavision got appreciation. Before Covid-19, her anchored cooking related show Rannar Expert was aired on Nagorik TV. Before that she also hosted same type of show on SA TV and Channel i, she also said.
After taking a long break from acting, Oindrila returned to acting alongside Apurba in Rubel Hasan’s drama Beloved. Then she got appreciation to act in Mabrur Rashid Bannah’s drama Sangsarik Bhalobasa and Prithuraz’s drama Jolpukure Doob. She also came into limelight to perform in several numbers of TVCs directed by Nafiz. As an advertisement-maker, Oindrila also proved her skill to make four TVCs on E-learning.
