A group of Jatiya Oikyafront and BNP leaders led by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir are going to visit the rape victim at Char Jubilee Union in Subarnachar upazila of Noakhali district.
BNP office source said, they will go there to console the victim and her family. On Saturday morning at 7 pm, they will start their
journey from BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office.
Sources further said, the senior leaders of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and Jatiya Oikyafront including BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Samajtantrik Dal (JSD) President ASM Abdur Rab, Nagorik Oikya Convener Mahmudur Rahman Manna will be in the team.
Unfortunately, a mother of four children was violated by a gang of men for voting ‘Sheaf of Paddy’ at Char Jubilee Union in Subarnachar upazila of Noakhali district on Monday.
The 35-year-old woman, who was being treated at Noakhali General Hospital with severe injuries, claimed that she was raped for voting for “Sheaf of Paddy”, the electoral symbol of the BNP, in the national polls.
