The BNP high command has directed its MP candidates contesting in the 11th Parliamentary election 2018 to stand by the affected supporters and workers of their respective constituencies.
The high command on Thursday delivered two letters to the candidates in this respect in the party chief’s Gulshan office.
In one of the letters, the party directed them to stand by all those workers and supporters who suffered in the hands of the ruling party men during and after the polls.
It said that many houses, business establishments and shops of the party workers and supporters had been damaged and devastated by ruling party

It said that many houses, business establishments and shops of the party workers and supporters had been damaged and devastated by ruling party
men and a section of the law enforcers during and after the polls. The MP candidates must help all of those affected people as well as arrested party men’s families.
In the second letter, the candidates have been directed to garner proofs and evidences of election irregularities for submission to the high command with photographs and other documents of the vote rigging and election violations in eight categories to the party Secretary General at its Nayapaltan office within seven days.
They will file cases with the election tribunal soon.
