Campus Report :Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad Ameen Madani called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Monday at the latter’s office of the university. OIC Secretary General arrived in Dhaka on a 3-day official visit on Sunday. Members of the OIC delegation, Education Secretary Dr Muhammad Sadique, Dean of DU Science Faculty Prof Dr Md Yousuf Ali Mollah, Dean of Business Faculty Prof Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam, some officials of Foreign Ministry and Education Ministry were present on the occasion.During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interests. DU VC apprised OIC Secretary General of Dhaka University history since its inception and its academic programs in brief. Later OIC Secretary General went round the campus accompanied by the Vice-Chancellor. He also visited Central Science Library, Curzon Hall, Chemistry Department and class room of Botany Department where he exchanged views with students and teachers.
