Rajshahi University (RU) has launched its official Facebook page titled ‘University of Rajshahi’ aimed at exposing its activities in the local and global arena through social media. The university authority launched the page on Wednesday at the conference hall of Vice-Chancellor Lounge through maintaining health safety guidelines and other rules, set by the government amid Covid-19 pandemic.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Abdus Sobhan accompanied by Pro-Vice-Chancellors Prof Ananda Kumar Shaha and Prof Chowdhury Jakaria, Registrar Prof Abdul Bari, Controller of Examinations Prof Abdus Salam and Proctor Prof Lutfor Rahman inaugurated the page.
Prior to this, Administrator of the page Dr Azizur Rahman highlighted the significance and importance of the page through a multimedia presentation.
He said anyone can get notice and circular, authority’s statement on any important issue, press release, photo and video through the link facebook.com/rajshahi.university.ac.bd of the face book page from now on.
