Ocean Group emerged as the champions in the Open Division of the Energypac Victory Day Squash Competition on Friday.
Ocean Group, which consists of Shawpon Parvez, Sumon, Bholalal Chouhan defeated Gulshan Club by 2-0 sets at the squash court in the Headquarters of Bangladesh Navy.
Gulshan Club became runners-up, while Olympic Group finished third.
In the Above-45 Division, Gulshan Club beat Bangladesh Navy by 2-1 sets.
After the final matches, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid distributed the prizes among the winners as the chief guest. Secretary of the Youth and Sports of Bangladesh Awami League Harun-ar-Rashid, Assistant Chief of Bangladesh Navy Rear Admiral Mohammed Saiful Kabir, Representative of Energypac Rabiul Alam, General Secretary of Bangladesh Squash Rackets Federation Md Jahangir Hamid Sohel were present at the time.
