Rock band Obscure has recently released their 12th album, titled “Stop Genocide.”
The eight-track album has been released on the official youtube channel of the band. The songs will also be available on Spotify, iTunes, Saavn and Google Play Store.
Obscure brings forth the Rohingya issue with the title song ‘Stop Genocide.’ It is written by Kolkata’s Amit Goswami.
The band’s frontman and lead vocalist Tipu explained that the song is a form protest against the murders and tortures unveiling on the Bangladesh-Myanmar border. “The track ‘Stop Genocide’ is a protest from our band Obscure, against every mass killing currently going on the earth including the Rohingya genocide. All of the tracks from the album have Obscure’s own melody as well.”
Other songs of the album are: ‘Suchitra Sen,’ ‘Altaf,’ ‘Tumi Thik Chole Esho,’ ‘Krishnokoli ,’ ‘Hoyto Tomay,’ ‘Tumi Ki Janona’ and ‘Boro Ekaki.’
Obscure’s 11th and most recent album, “Crack Platoon,” was launched last year and The song ‘Crack Platoon’ and ‘Porowana’ became hits from that album.
