The Board of Directors of ONE Bank Limited has elected ASM Shahidullah Khan as its new Chairman for one-year term. The board has also re-elected Asoke Das Gupta as its Vice Chairman and ZahurUllah as the Executive Committee Chairman, said a press release.
Shahidullah Khan is the Managing Director of Media New Age Limited and the publisher of the Daily New Age. He is a Director of Holiday Publication Limited.
Khan has been involved in extra-curricular, socio-cultural and voluntary activities since his student life. He was adjudged among other things as the All Pakistan best Scout in 1965, All Pakistan Debate Champion in 1967. He is a Member of the Board of Trustees of Bangladesh Protibondhi Foundation (an organization for Disabled Children).
Newly re- elected as Vice Chairman, Asoke Das Gupta is a reputed businessman of the country. He is the Chief Executive of IMTREX and the Managing Director of Uniroyal Trade Limited. Asoke Das Gupta is also the Chairman of Uniroyal Securities Limited and Ocunova Eye Hospital.
Besides, Zahur Ullah, Director of ONE Bank Limited has been re – elected as the Executive Committee Chairman. He is a prominent business person in the country. He graduated in Finance from University of Dhaka. He is involved in the buying, manufacturing, and exporting of readymade garments and allied products. Zahur Ullah is the Chairman of LL Group and also the Managing Director of GTEX Limited. He is one of the Directors of Holiday Publications Limited.
