Rehena Aktar, a social worker and wife of former president of Netrakona district Awami League Mohammad Shamsuzzuha, died of heart attack at United Hospital in the city on Friday. She was 65.
She left behind her husband, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
The Namaj-e-Janaza of Rehana Akter was held after Zohr prayer at Netrakona central Jam-e-mosque on Saturday.
She was laid to rest at her family graveyard at Netrakona Hospital Road.
