Sufia Khatun, mother of Rotary Governor (Elect) SAM Shawkat Hossain breathed her last on Friday morning. She was 84.
She left behind three sons, three daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Baitul Aman Mosque in the city’s Dhanmondi after Asr Prayers on Friday. She was buried at Martyred Intellectuals Graveyard in the city’s Mirpur.
