Shahana Chowdhury, senior officer of Sonali Bank main branch Faridpur, died of cardiac arrest on Sunday night at her South Jheeltuli residence in Faridpur. She was 57. According to her younger brother Dr. Jahangir Chowdhury Tito, principal of Faridpur Medical College Shahana had congenital heart disease and was operated upon earlier but could not be cured completely.
She left behind her husband, one son, one daughter and a host of relatives, and well wishers to mourn her death. Her namaz-e-Janaza was held after Asr prayers and was buried at Alipur graveyard on Monday.
