Begum Boshirunnesa, mother of daily Naya Diganta senior reporter and Jatiya Press Club member Ashraf Ali, died of old age complications at village Katuli, under Sadar upazilla of Tangail early on Monday. She was 95.
She left behind seven sons, three daughters, a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death. Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held after Asr Prayers and later she was buried at the ancestral graveyard.
