Srimati Haridasi Devi, mother of Sri Babul Devnath, a central committee leader of Bangladesh Hindu, Buddhist and Christian Oikya Parishad (BHBCOP) died at her own residence in Narsingdi on Thursday morning. She was 75.
Her funeral ceremony was held at her family crematory at Narsingdi.
She left behind three sons, a daughter and a host of relatives to mourn her death.
Mahanagar Sarbojonin Puja Udjapan Committee President JL Bhoumik and its General Secretary Narayan Saha Moni and BHBCOP General Secretary Advocate Rana Dasgupta expressed deep shock at the death of Haridasi Devi.
