Mohammad Hossain alias Mohon Master, father of Awami League (AL) science and technology affairs sub-committee member Ishtaq Ahmed Shimul, died at his own residence at Modhukhali in Faridpur district on Tuesday morning. He was 79.
Mohon Master left behind six sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader, in a message of condolence, expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Mohon Master.
He prayed for the eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
