Advocate Lutfur Rahman, father of freedom fighter and former President of Bangabandhu Awami Ainjibi Parishad of Noakhali district Shamsul Hasan Miran, died at his residence in Sadar upazila of Noakhali district early on Friday morning. He was 93. He left behind four sons, three daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn his death.
His namaz-e-janaza was held after the Jum’a prayers in Sadar upazila and he was buried at his family graveyard later.
