Valiant freedom fighter and senior Vice-President of Narail district Awami League Advocate Fazlur Rahman Jinnah passed away at his residence in Narail on Monday morning. He was 72.
Freedom fighter Enamul Kabir Tuku said that Jinnah had been suffering from various old age complications for long.
He left behind two daughters and a host of relatives, friends and well- wishers to mourn his death.
His namaj-e-janaza was held at the premises of Narail poura graveyard after asar prayer yesterday.
He was buried in the poura graveyard with “state honour”.
MP of Narail-2 constituency Mashrafi Bin Mortuza, district AL President Advocate Subash Chandra Bose, Secretary and Narail sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Nizam Uddin Khan Nilu condoled on his death.
