Dilruba Islam, sister of Liberation War Museum’s Trustee Mofidul Hoque and renowned scholar Monzurul Huq, passed away in the city early Wednesday. She was 71.
She was married to the late freedom fighter Sirajul Islam, also a retired official at the Bangladesh Betar.
The Namaz-e-Janaza of Dilruba Islam will be held today (Thursday) at the Paribagh Jame Mashjid after Zohr prayers.
She left behind three sons, grandchildren and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
