Md. Saif Ullah, a life member of Bagerhat Press Club and former Bagerhat district based correspondent of the New Nation and a social worker breathed his last at Cox’sbazar on November 20. He was a “Focal Person” of Bagerhat district branch of a local NGO named CODEC (Community Development Center.
He was 70. He was a confirmed bachelor. He left behind one brother and a host of relatives, friends and admirers to mourn his death. He was a founder member of SANAC (Sachetan Nagarik Committee), Bagerhat Unit of TIB (Transparency International Bangladesh) and Bagerhat District Diabetic Association. He was born in a highly aristocratic Muslim family of Bagerhat district town (P C College Road).
