Former member of Awami Jubo League and Vice-President of Gandaria Thana unit of Awami League (AL) SM Hossain Kajal breathed his last at a city hospital on Thursday night. He was 63.
Kajal left behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Friday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Kajal.
In a condolence message, Quader, also Awami League’s General Secretary, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family members.
