Veteran Freedom Fighter Chheleman Mandol died at his village home in Amada under Laxmipasha union in Lohagara upazila of Netrakona district on Tuesday morning. He was 70.
Chheleman Mandol left behind his wife, four sons, a daughter and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn his death.
He had been suffering from respiratory problems for a long time, said Md. Asaduzzaman Mandal, younger brother of the deceased and also a retired teacher of Amada Secondary School.
Bir Muktijoddha Chheleman Mandal was buried at his family graveyard following a Namaz-e-Janaza after Asr prayers.
