Ferdousi Rahman Ely, wife of A. B. M. Hafizur Rahman, former Assistant General Manager of Sonali Bank of London, England, passed away on May 19, 2021 at the May Day Hospital in London. (Inna Lillahi Wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun).
Ely was born on June 6, 1956. Studied at the Motijheel T and T High School, had spent her early years in Wapda road, Badda, Dhaka, Bangladesh with her parents, late Md. Eshaque and late Hafiza Khatoon and four other siblings, Rina, Shirin, Milu and Shaheen.
She joined her husband in London, England in April 1977 after her marriage.
She was a caring woman and good to relatives and friends. She was blessed with a son and two daughters.
After a battle with cancer, she died. She was buried on Friday, May 21, 2021.
Her friends and relatives, in London, Dhaka, and Nalchithi, Barisal, Bangladesh, were offering prayers for the deceased.
