Bani Chakraborty, mother of Kanai Chakraborty, Deputy Chief Correspondent of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha has passed away at the age of 75.
She breathed her last at Mugda Hospital in the capital on Tuesday.
Family sources said she had been suffering from various problems due to old age for a long time.
She left behind his son, three daughters, grandchildren and relatives to mourn her death.
Abul Kalam Azad, Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha expressed deep shock over her death.
Bani Chakraborty’s funeral was held at Rajarbagh Baradeswari Maha Shamshan on Tuesday afternoon.
