Vice-President of Mymensingh City Awami League M Mahmud Hossen Prince died on Saturday while he was undergoing treatment at a hospital in the capital.
He was 62.
He left behind wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn his death.
Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Saturday expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Mymensingh city Awami League leader M Mahmud Hossen Prince.
In a condolence message, Quader, also General Secretary of the Awami League, prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members.
