Advisory Council Member of Manikganj Zila Awami League and former President of Ghior upazila Awami League as well as member of Zila Parishad Abdul Khaleque passed away on Tuesday evening at the age of 78.
He is survived by his wife, four sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Khaleque.
In a condolence message, Quader prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed sympathy to the bereaved family.
