Dr Rafiqul Bashar, a senior physician, died in the capital on Saturday evening due to a severe heart attack. He was 75.
Dr Bashar felt serious breathing problem when he was in his car at Dhanmondi and was rushed to Labaid Hospital. He was taken to emergency department where on duty doctors declared him dead.
He left behind his wife Dr Nazma Ara Bashar, one son, a daughter, brothers, sisters, friends to mourn his death.
