The 24th death anniversary of Dr. Sofia Hasna Jahan Ali, former professor of the Department of Economics at Dhaka University was observed on Friday (25th December).
Wife of late Dr. Shaikh Maqsood Ali, she served as the Vice President of the Bangladesh Economic Association and was the President of the Lioness Club of Dhaka East.
Know by her nick name Dolly in the sports arena, she was also a renowned sportswoman and sports organizer.
Her children and grandchildren requests relatives, friends and well-wishers to kindly pray for her departed soul.
