Munshiganj district’s Gazaria upazila Awami League (AL) President Solaiman Dewan died while undergoing treatment at a city hospital on Wednesday night. He was 70, said a press release.
Solaiman left behind his wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death.
Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Solaiman Dewan.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
Besides, State Minister for Women and Children Affairs Fazilatun Nessa Indira also condoled the death of Solaiman Dewan and conveyed deep sympathy to the bereaved family.
