Former Awami League law maker (reserved seat) of 9th parliament Saleha Mosharraf breathed her last at Faridpur Diabetic Medical College Hospital on Thursday night after prolonged illness originated from cancer. She was 66.
Saleha Mosharraf was also elected law maker in the 7th parliament (Faridpur-4) for some time following the death of her husband Advocate Mosharraf Hossain, a valiant organizer of liberation war and law maker of that constituency since 1970.
