Social worker Amena Bewya died of old-age complications at her Parora village residence under Badalgachi upazila in Naogaon on Monday morning. She was 92. Amena Bewya was the mother-in-law of Shahnaj Siddiqui Soma, Senior Sub-Editor of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha . She left behind two daughters, three sons, grandchildren and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death. She was buried at her family graveyard following a Namaz-e-Janaza after Asr prayers on Monday.
