Freedom fighter Abdul Halim died of old age complications at his residence at Arazi Niyamat village in Gangachara upazila on Thursday. He was 65.He left behind wife, three sons, two daughters, relatives, a host of admirers and fellow freedom fighters to mourn his death. The Namaz-e-Janaza of Halim was held at Arazi Niyamat High School ground after Zohr prayer.
He was laid to eternal rest with full state honour at his family graveyard.
