Firoza Begum, wife of veteran freedom fighter and intellectual late Abdul Quader Miah died at the Cobined Military Hospital in the city on Thursday. She was 87.
She left behind nine wards to mourn her death.
The Namaz-e-Janaza was held at Dhaka Cantonment at 8 am on Thursday.
She was buried at Zamirta in Shahjadpur.
