Jamila Barkatullah, wife of a former Civil Surgeon of Rajshahi late Kamal Uddin died of old-age complications at her Dhanmondi residence in the city recently. She was 82.
She left behind four sons and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn her death.
Jamila was laid to eternal rest at the Azimpur graveyard in the city after namaz-e-janaza.
