Md Abul Hossain, father of Channel-24 senior reporter and Dhaka Reporters’ Unity (DRU) member Rashed Nizam, died of old-age complications at his Basabo residence in the city on Saturday morning. He was 70.
Hossain is survived by wife, two sons, a daughter and a host of relatives and admirers.
He was buried at Shahjahanpur graveyard following a namaz-e-janaza at Basabo Jame Mosque.
