Noted poet Mukul Chowdhury’s father, popular Headmaster Md Bodrur Razzak Chowdhury, who was commonly known as Abdal Miah Master in greater Dakshin Surma as well as Sylhet, is no more. He breathed his last at Excel Tower in Sylhet at about 4:00 pm on Sunday at the age of 85.
Md Bodrur Razzak Chowdhury, former headmaster of Paschimbhag (2) Govt Primary School at Lalabazar under Dakshin Surma upazila in Sylhet and Vice-President of Managing Committee of Lalabazar Alim Madrasah, was laid to rest at Khalopar following namaz-e-janaza.
The namaz-e-janaza was held on the premises of Khalopar Eidgah at 11:00 am.
Head Sir Md Bodrur Razzak Chowdhury left behind his one son, two daughters, grand-sons and grand-daughters, a host of relatives, well-wishers and thousands of students to mourn his death.
Master Md Bodrur Razzak Chowdhury had been suffering from some old-age complications. As his condition aggravated.
