Zahanara Islam, mother of journalist Shirin Sultana died at her residence in the city’s Dhanmondi on Friday. She was 70.
She was buried at Azimpur graveyard in the city on Friday after Namaz-e-Janaza.
A Qulkhwani and Doa Mahfil will be held at her residence after Asr Prayers today.
All the relatives and well-wishers of the deceased are requested to attend the Qulkhwani and pray for the salvation of the departed soul.
