Al-haj ABM. Emdadul Haque, a retired Superintend Engineer of PDB and owner of Amena Manjil, C & B Link Road, Basabati in Bagerhat town breathed his last in his Dhaka residence on Friday due to brain hemorrhage.
He was 67.
He left behind wife, 1 son, 1 daughter and a host of relatives, friends and admirers to mourn his death. He was kind, pious, generous, benevolent, well behaved, amiable in nature and interested in education all through his life. He was the son of one late Abdur Rahman Hawladar hailed from the village Atarkhali within Ekri Union under Bhandaria Upazilain in Pirojpur district. Graduated in engineering from BUET (Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology), Dhaka he started his service career as an Assistant Engineer of PDB at Khulna Zonal Office in the year 1977 and retired as a Superintendent Engineer, Kusthia Zonal Office of PDB in the year 2007. He did innumerable philanthropic works including founding of educational institutions and religious institutions in his locality.
