Mother of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha’s (BSS) journalist AK Zahirul Haq Rana, Mariam Johra Begum died of brain hemorrhage at Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital on Wednesday. She was 88.
She left behind three sons, two daughters and a host of relatives and well-wishers to mourn her death.
She was buried at the local graveyard after Namaz-e-Janaza at Gariarpar Jame Mosque in Kashipur under Barisal on Thursday.
A milad and doa mahfil will be held today seeking eternal peace of her departed soul.
