Golam Ambia, a social worker died of old-age complications on Monday at a hospital in Kushtia. He was 74.
He was buried at his village home graveyard at Chitla under Gangni Upazila in Meherpur district on Tuesday morning after namaz-e-janaza held at local Eidgah Maidan.
Ambia left behind wife, three sons, a daughter and a host of relatives, well-wishers and admirers to mourn his death.
