M. A. Mumin, an industrialist, social worker and founder member of the Board of Trustees of East West University (EWU) breathed his last at BIRDEM Hospital in Dhaka on Saturday due to cardiac arrest. He was 76. He left behind wife, two sons, one daughter and a host of relatives and admirers to mourn his death. All members of East West University family expressed their deep condolences on his death and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul. Mumin was elected Vice-Chairman of FBCCI in 1999. He was also a member of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). He was laid to rest at Hazrat Shahjalal Dargah Graveyard in Sylhet after Namaz-e-Janaza.
