Mrs. Muquddesa A. Qasem, wife of late A. Qasem FCA, Founder of A. Qasem & Co., Chartered Accountants, and First President of ICAB, passed away on 26th June, 2017. She was 87.
Mrs. Qasem left behind her only brother, three children and their spouses, six grandchildren and a host of relatives, friends and well-wishers to mourn her demise. An Alumna of Lady Brabourne College, Kolkata, and the Institute of Social Welfare and Research, University of Dhaka, she was a social worker ad writer. She was actively involved with Diabetic Association of Bangladesh, Bangladesh Association for the Aged, Bangladesh Council for Child Welfare and Human Development Foundation, says a press release.
